A Copernicus 2.0 Moment…
The triangulation of modes of Being
“We are in a little bit in a strange situation, it’s like being in after the Copernican revolution and most of people thinking still the earth is at the centre of the Universe. We are a little bit like that because in the 20th Century there have been relativity, general relativity, quantum mechanics have been quantum theory and the picture of the World has changed dramatically and somehow it will happen but it has not yet happened that the the this knowledge has percolated to people”…

Is the unfolding crisis of Modernity and Post-Modernity symptomatic of a Copernicus 2.0 moment?
“If we glance at the most important revolutions in history, we see at once that the greatest number of these originated in the periodical revolutions of the human mind”…
— Wilhelm von Humboldt
Why do we continue to view Reality from a Cartesian Balcony of Abstraction (i.e. apart from the World) when we are embodied and entangled in the World in which we inhabit?
Why is there an endemic Theology of Marxism across Western Civilisation?
Why is there a pervasive Modern Gnosticism?
Have we now entered the Theatre of the Absurd as Western Civilisation continues with its Modern and Post-Modern ideological project of self-destruction?
“ European civilisation rose on the principle of a World of universal and eternal truths, in which all men participate — on the principle of the Logos, in other words”…
— Augusto del Noce
Are we trapped in an OODA Loop of Infinite Errors of Idealism and Materialism that when combined results in Dialectical Materialism (refer Mao Tse-Tung (1938) and Joseph Stalin (1938)) and Historical Materialism — a World Outlook of the Marxist-Leninist Party?
If the notion of Materialism is being challenged (i.e. critique of Local Realism) by the 2022 Nobel Prize Winners, is Idealism the alternative?
If the notion of Idealism is being challenged is Materialism the alternative?
The Triangulation of Modes of Being
What if 19th-20th Century American Philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce (i.e. America’s Aristotle) was able to extend our understanding of different Categories of Thought beyond Ontological Categories of Being (Aristotle) and Epistemological Categories of Knowing (Kant) to Phenomenological Categories of Meaning?
What if this Category expresses different modes of Being?
- A Firstness that reflects a consciousness in Being in the World (this Being’s relationship to Being);
- A Secondness that reflects the beginning of the process of separation of the Mind (Abstraction — Apart from the World) and the Body (Being — Part of the World) — a Double Consciousness. A Presence & Absence. The Altersense; and
- A Thirdness that reflects a bringing to the Mind and Cognition (Abstraction — Apart from the World)?
A reflection of a Metaphysical Geometric Unity to bring a Sense of Coherence to our participation in Reality.
What if we are in the process of transitioning from the Age of Reason to the Age of Meaning and beginning a process of recognising & restoring the triadic nature of Being (Rosmini) — an Ontological Being?
One that reflects the intelligibility of the Universe, the Semiotics of Life and the breath of Being.
